Middletown Adult Education offers instruction to shoreline students at its Old Saybrook facility. Located at 210 Main Street, the site offers students the opportunity to attend daytime and evening classes. More than 40 students attend classes at this location each year.
The Old Saybrook facility offers students access to computers and distance learning classes which are taught from the Middletown site. Students can also access the internet and use video resources as they complete their studies. They work with certified academic instructors, instructional aides and a counselor as they complete the credits needed for a Middletown Adult High School diploma or GED diploma. Classes are also offered in English as a Second Language, Citizenship, and Basic Skills.
